Job Summary:

Shift Coaching is looking for a results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will help generate new business to help fuel the growth of Shift Coaching. You will have the challenge and opportunity of building this new role with the potential of moving into a Sales role in the future (get started in a fast moving career with great growth potential). This role requires you to proactively seek new business through creative and optimized outreach via email, cold-calling, and social media. The primary objective is to develop qualified prospects to pass on to the sales team.

You will analyze whether the product is a good fit and educate the customer on how the solution can help solve and improve the client’s business.


  • Good understanding about the industry, sales process and competition
  • Perform thorough research on the prospect and company before first contact
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Make outbound calls (number to be determined per day)
  • Use email, social media to find connections and prospects
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities (including leads for the website, digital campaigns, and other programs)
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and the sales team
  • Create email templates, questioning templates, and call scripts and constantly modify, learn and develop
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of the product line and be able to articulate the value proposition effectively to potential clients
  • Report on quotas set for meetings scheduled and opportunities qualified
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information on prospects and interactions in company CRM, including sales calls, appointments made, lead origination, and follow-up activity
  • Manage marketing campaigns, events as required
  • Sales and Marketing support

  • Proficiency with Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive
  • A keen interest in leadership development and coaching
